BBC sources deny Aaron Taylor-Johnson rumours

Media outlets were very quick to perpetuate the rumour that Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be the next James Bond from just an anonymous tip picked up by The Sun, some even running extensive biographies on the actor ahead of a possible announcement.
However, people familiar with the situation have poured cold water on the news.
The BBC approached EON but they said they don't comment on speculation, however a production insider has told BBC News there is "no truth in the rumours."
For each new 007 actor cast, a director has been in place for the screen tests and casting process. No director has been confirmed for Bond 26 and MI6 understands that the film is not officially green lit yet by MGM (and parent company Amazon Studios).
