Bond 25 director and new release date announced

20-Sep-2018 • No Time To Die

Official Announcement:

Michael G. Wilson, Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig announced today that the 25th James Bond will begin filming at Pinewood Studios on 4th March 2019 under the helm of director, Cary Joji Fukunaga with a worldwide release date of 14 February 2020.

“We are delighted to be working with Cary. His versatility and innovation make him an excellent choice for our next James Bond adventure," said Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.

Cary will be the first American director in the franchise, and Bond 25 will also be the first 007 adventure released in a year ending in '0.' Daniel Craig will, remarkably, see his films released in three different decades and will become the longest-serving James Bond actor, surpassing Sir Roger Moore's record tenure.
