It only took a couple of weeks for actress and comedian Daisy May Cooper to shoot down tabloid rumours that she was being eyed to play 'M' in the next era of the James Bond film franchise.
Addressing the rumours during a non-appearance at the Royal Television Society Awards in which she won Best Female Comedy Performance, a speech was read out on her behalf which said: "I can't be there because I'm filming Bond... jokes, the only M I'll ever be is Mental."
