First Disney announced it was leasing Pinewood Studios for the next 10 years, potentially kicking out future 007 productions from their home base, and now Bond's cars may be forced to find new digs, too.
Warner Bros has quietly purchased the London Film Museum, currently home to the Bond In Motion exhibition.
The studio, which currently runs the Making of Harry Potter tour is also set to open a DC Comics-themed mega restaurant in London. Having a competitor's intellectual property in the museum may not be a long term strategy for the venue.
There were rumours earlier in 2019 that the Bond In Motion exhibition would be moving on from the Covent Garden location.
According to the press, the museum’s latest filing with Companies House showed it made a net loss of £92,000 in the year to January 31, 2018, although the previous owners reportedly paid themselves a £1.2m dividend prior to the sale.
