Connery film 'Sir Billi' to have US premiere at Sonoma International Film Festival
Originally conceived as a 20 minute short film "Sir Billi" has grown to become a feature film with the voice of former Bond actor, Sir Sean Connery.
Out of retirement only briefly to voice and produce the film, Connery stars as "Sir Billi" and highlands vet.
Now the picture will receive a US launch at the Sonoma International Film Festival near San Francisco. The festival runs from 11th to the 15th of April 2012.
Sascha Hartmann, director, told the
Daily Record "Sir Sean has been incredible. From day one, we knew he was perfect for the role of Sir Billi â being a true Scottish hero and also a grandfather himself.
"No matter how many times I hear his legendary voice on the film, it still gives me a thrill."
