Exclusive: 'Skyfall' teaser poster to be unveiled for Cannes

MI6 can reveal that the wait for long awaited teaser poster for the new James Bond film, 'Skyfall', is almost over.

The poster will be revealed to coincide with the James Bond 50th anniversary movie screenings at the Cannes Film Festival, which takes place between 16th and 27th May 2012.

In a Bond production year, the Carlton Hotel is traditionally adorned with 007 livery.

Fans will also get to see the first theatrical teaser trailer for Daniel Craig's third outing as 007 on the 25th May when Sony attach the preview to "Men In Black 3". It is expected to debut online on the same day.

Five James Bond films will screen in new digital versions as part of the Cinema de la Plage screenings. The celebration will kick off with a 50th anniversary screening of "Dr No" directed by Terence Young and starring Sean Connery and Ursula Andress. It will be followed by screenings of "From Russia With Love", "Diamonds Are Forever", "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and "Casino Royale". This is the first time a James Bond film has screened during the festival.
