Michael G. Wilson talked Bond with BBC Breakfast yesterday

To tie in with the BBC Breakfast's exclusive first look at the new "Skyfall" trailer, producer Michael G. Wilson was on the programme showing its presenters gadgets from the Bond films and speaking a little about the forthcoming James Bond 23.

One of the props Wilson shared was a genuine passport for James Bond. He explained: "Props wanted to get a decent prop passport for James Bond and so they made us one - it's actually made by the government."

"He's fantastic," says Wilson of Daniel Craig. "For this time and place he's the most magnificent. Each one of the actors are of their moment and live in their own time."

When the presenter quizzed Wilson about the short running time and rough cutting of "Quantum of Solace", the producer responded with news most fans will be relieved to hear: "It'll probably be longer, although we really don't know until we edit it and put it together. I think it'll be a two hour plus film."

Eyes are already on Bond 24 but Wilson advises the public that they like to take it easy, gauge the reaction to the prior film before setting anything in stone for the next adventure: "Hopefully we'll make the next film but we always wait and see how the current one goes down with the public."
