Halle Berry giving up on Jinx - `I think that it`s finally dawning on me`

24-Dec-2003 • Actor News

Following the leak by trade-paper Variety back in October that MGM had pulled the plug on the Jinx spin-off project, and told Eon Productions to start work on Bond 21, Halle Berry seems to have given up on her dream to play her "female 007" character in her own franchise.

Talking to the Courier Post this week, Berry was discussing her role as Catwoman (due for release in 2004) and her continuation of her "Storm" character in the X-Men franchise.

So how would "Jinx" fit into her schedule, especially considering now that MGM are not treating the project as a priority?

"It`s still all up in the air but it`s OK because I just can`t be all these (action heroes). I think that it`s finally dawning on me. You can`t be every one of them."
