Sir Sean Connery makes appearance at US Open
Sir Sean Connery has traveled to New York City to cheer on fellow Scot Andy Murray. The former James Bond star watched Murray win his semi-final clash to make it to this weekend's major final at Flushing Meadows.
After Murray's victory, Connery and Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson 'crashed' his press conference to congratulate the Scot.
Bond fan Andy ditched his Ferrari last year in favour of a £135,000 Aston Martin in gunmetal grey â just like 007. He said last year: âI have all the James Bond videos. I used to get them every Christmas â they had two-for-one deals on them. I was a big fan and thought he was the best. I still do. If a movie was made of my life, I would want Sir Sean to play me.â
