'Skyfall' opening weekend box-office totals increased

It was first estimated by the studios that the new James Bond film "Skyfall" would scoop $77.7m from its UK opening and 24 other international territories in its first weekend. That estimate has now been increased.

Official figures are still to come in from all 25 countries, but the "Skyfall" opening weekend now stands at an amazing $80.6m.

As well as the UK, the film is setting new records for 007 at the box office. Over in Norway, "Skyfall" had the second biggest opening of a new film in the nation's history, pulling in 165,000 people.
