'Skyfall' international box-office to pass $100m tomorrow, smashes more records
According to estimates in the
Hollywood Reporter, the new James Bond film "Skyfall" will pass the $100m mark at the box-office after less than a week in 25 countries.
"Skyfall" smashed opening weekend records in many of those countries, but is still pushing on strong and breaking new ground.
UK: Blitzed the all-time record for a Monday with £4.3m / $6.8m , beating the record of roughly £3.2m / $5m set in 2011 by the final Harry Potter film. The four-day U.K. total is a massive $39.3 million.
Brazil: Posted a Monday gross of $386,000 in Brazil, more than 80% ahead of "Quantum of Solace". Total for four-day opening is $3.6 million.
France: Four-day cume is $12.8 million. Attendance is estimated at 1.6m.
Russia: Four-day cume is $9.2 million
South Korea: Four-day cume is $6.5 million.
