Pierce Brosnan teases at least one 007 will miss the Oscars

The media have loved to push the unfounded rumour that all six James Bond actors will be 'reunited' (even though they have never been united before) at the Academy Awards ceremony later this month when the Oscars will host a James Bond tribute in its 50th anniversary year.

Pierce Brosnan was spotted by the paparazzi channel TMZ who quizzed the former 007 star on whether the rumour was true. "Well, they'll be missing one," he teased.

The reporter tried to determine whether he was referring to himself or Sean Connery, but Brosnan simply smiled and drove off.
