Oscars organizers confirm there will not be a 007 reunion

It will probably not stop the media from continuing to speculate and push unfounded rumours, but the organizers of this year's Oscar ceremony have gone on the record that there will not be a reunion of all six actors to have played James Bond in the EON Procutions film series.

However, the Academy Awards will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 007 film series with a segment they are keeping under wraps.

"It’s something else, something very unique and very exciting but no, we’re not getting the Bonds together", Oscar telecast producer Craig Zadan said.

Dame Shirley Bassey is confirmed to be performing 'Goldfinger', and Adele will sing 'Skyfall' at the ceremony, too.
