Adele wins Best British Single at Brit Awards for 'Skyfall'
Singer-songwriter Adele has landed the Best British Single trophy at the 2013 Brit Awards tonight for her James Bond title song "Skyfall".
Adele, who could not make it to the ceremony in London as she is busy preparing for the Oscars in Los Angeles, left a cheeky pre-recorded video message.
"I won't speak for too long, so you don't have to cut off the winner at the end of the night," she said referencing the controversy last year. James Corden and producers caused uproar when they interrupted Adele during her speech for Best British Album in 2012, leading the songstress to flip her middle finger at the chubby host.
Once the clip ended, Corden reassured viewers: "She definitely finished. She didn't say anything else - check the tape. She's 100% finished? OK."
