MGM promises investors Bond will be back within three years

At an MGM investor conference call, the big cat announced a great influx of profits thanks to Bond and "The Hobbit" which both grossed over $1b at the box office.

Said CEO Gary Barber: "We are currently developing the screenplay and working with our partners. We look forward to developing the script soon and signing a director. We are hoping within the next 3 years it will be released."

Some media outlets took this to mean that Bond would be back in late 2014, but a Summer 2015 release might be more realistic, and still consistent with the slate that Barber suggested.
