The real MI6 forced to reveal how eco-friendly it is

The British government is starting to enforce an obscure piece of legalisation, passed in 2004, and entitled the Environmental Information Regulations.

The upshot of which is that secret organisations, like the SIS (formally MI6), will be revealing their power and waste usage as part of the scheme.

A spokesperson told the media: "The Secret Intelligence Service is currently collating the figures related to its environmental information."

Back in 2009 the security services spent over £3.5 million on electricity and more than £200k on gas.
