Pierce Brosnan planning low-key 60th birthday celebration

Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan is planning a low-key celebration to mark his 60th birthday.

Brosnan, who starred in four 007 adventures from 1995 to 2002, will turn six-oh on May 16th 2013.

He told the media recently, "I’ll celebrate with my darling girl and the kids – you give thanks and then on you go."

Brosnan also admits the big birthday seems to have come around very quickly, adding, "Growing older just creeps up on you. You’re on a movie set and you look around and you suddenly think ‘I’m the oldest one here!’"
