Bond 24 directorial shortlist rumoured in trade press

After an interview with Nicolas Winding Refn ("Drive") First Showing started a media rumour that the director was a contender for helming Bond 24, Variety released a list of other contenders. You can watch a video over at Firstshowing.net wherein Refn smiles and nods to questions about 007 and says simply "I love Bond... I love him."

According to Variety sources, producers have also been in contact with Ang Lee ("Life Of Pi"), Tom Hooper ("The King's Speech") and Shane Black ("Iron Man 3"). Variety also suggest that the producers are in no rush to make a decision, with details of Craig's latest contract still being worked out.
