Bond villain Steven Berkoff appears in court after hitting pedestrian in London

29-Aug-2013 • Actor News

The actor who appeared as the maniacal Russian General Orlov in "Octopussy" was before the UK courts after some reckless driving in London.

The woman he hit testified: “I was quite shocked he didn’t say ‘Are you OK?’ There was no offer of assistance. What struck me was a very aggressive man in a rush who showed no concern for my welfare when I was lying on the road in front of his car.”

Beroff was fined £350 plus £50 for not having a UK licence on him. The actor defended himself by claiming that the woman he hit "just ran out" but apparently another car was already stopped and waiting for the woman to cross.
