Lost 1977 behind the scenes documentary rediscovered

A behind the scenes documentary about the making of "The Spy Who Loved Me", which for years has been considered lost, has been rediscovered.

Children's television programme Clapperboard dedicated an entire episode to the making of Roger Moore's third outing as 007, broadcast by ITV in the UK on 17th January 1977.

The 25-minute show featured an interview with production designer Sir Ken Adam, who conceived the gigantic tanker set built as the 007 Stage at Pinewood Studios.

A recording of the programme was discovered during research for the 50th anniversary documentary "Everything or Nothing: The Untold History of 007". It was in Sir Ken's private collection that the tape was found.

The material was passed on to classic television organisation Kaleidoscope and have been transferred from its original U-Matic broadcast tape to a digital format.
