Bond girl Rachel Grant raises funds for Philippines storm sufferers
Famed for her role in "Die Another Day" as Peaceful Fountains, actress and model Rachel Grant is also deeply involved in the Padua Charitable fund that is currently raising money for the people of the Philippines.
The Padua Charitable Fund was founded in July 2007 with the conviction that everyone has the basic right to a decent home, good health and education necessary to ensure the continuity of a safe, sound and happy society.
The actress recently posted the following appeal to her public facebook page:
Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda - the biggest storm in history - was 3.5 times more powerful than the USA's Hurricane Katrina. 2 million people in 41 provinces have been devastatingly affected with no contact or any word from many islands. So to all my friends who wish to help the Philippines, my family's Padua Charitable Fund (PCF) are raising much-needed funds. Donations can be made via paypal to: donate@paduacharitablefund.org or visit: http://www.paduacharity.com/contribute.htm For those looking for missing/relatives/friends in the Visayas region you can try this: http://google.org/personfinder/2013-yolanda?lang=en The Philippines is a beautiful, unique archipelago with the nicest people on earth.
