Bond villain Julian Glover awarded CBE

Bond villain Julian Glover has been presented with a CBE by the Prince of Wales. The 78-year-old actor said the honour was a "vote of confidence" for a 60-year career that has included roles in Star Wars, Indiana Jones and opposite Roger Moore in "For Your Eyes Only".

After receiving the medal, he said: "It's the most extraordinary thing to happen. I was absolutely gobsmacked when I heard about it, but then you hear about all the people that have been doing it for you over the last few weeks and months and you realise you must have done something right in your life. It's a vote of confidence from everybody you know, which is simply wonderful. I'm thrilled."
