BBC's 'Talking Pictures' to feature Sean Connery in an episode this March
The BBC's long-running show, "Talking Pictures" takes a look back at television appearances by legends of the silver screen, using archive footage to tell the story of their lives and careers.
MI6 understands that the show's producers are currently in the process of compiling a episode focused on the life and career of debut 007 actor, Sir Sean Connery. The episode is scheduled to be aired in March 2014 alongside a screening of Connery's Hitchcock film, "Marnie", which he shot between work on "Dr. No" and "From Russia With Love".
As you would expect the episode will have a healthy dose of 007, including footage of Connery being interviewed by a news reporter between takes on the set of "Goldfinger" in 1964; excerpts from an Alan Whicker "Whicker's World" programme that followed the production of "You Only Live Twice"; and an interview from the programme "Film Night" with Connery talking about returning to Bond in "Diamonds Are Forever".
