'007 reign ended badly' - Pierce Brosnan

Four-times James Bond Pierce Brosnan admitted in a recent interview that his reign in the iconic role ended badly.

“I was lucky enough to make four Bond films. It finished in rather shambolic fashion, but I have no bitterness, no resentment,” said Brosnan whose run came to end over his pay demands for a fifth film, despite the studio offering to meet him half way.

Brosnan adds in Cigar ­Aficionado, “I hold Bond dear to my heart. I’ve traveled the world as an ambassador for that character and I had a bloody great time doing it.”
