MGM animation executive Donald I. Mirisch dies aged 67
Studio executive Donald I. Mirisch, who once lead up animation for MGM, died of brain cancer at the age of 67 on July 26th.
As well as MGM, Mirisch held senior positions at Fox Studios, Universal Studios, Embassy Home Entertainment and Hanna-Barbera Production.
His contribution to the James Bond canon came in the early 1990s when he executive produced the 'James Bond Jr.' animated kids series. Mirisch worked with EON Productions' Michael G. Wilson on the series co-developed by Andy
Heyward and Robbie London.
