Executive producer Tom Pevsner has died
Tom Pevsner, executive producer on several James Bond films and assistant director on countless others, has died this morning (Tuesday 19th August 2014).
He was born on October 2nd, 1926 in Dresden, Germany.
His first Bond credit came as Associate Producer on Roger Moore's "For Your Eyes Only" in 1981. He continued the role through "Octopussy", "A View To A Kill", "The Living Daylights" and "Licence To Kill".
When Pierce Brosnan was launched as the new 007 in 1995, Pevsner moved up to Execuive producer for "GoldenEye".
Outside of the Bond franchise, he was best known as assistant director and producer, with credits including "The Longest Day" (1962) and "The Ladykillers" (1955).
