Robert Harris wins Ian Fleming Steel Dagger award 2014

Congratulations to Robert Harris, whose novel AN OFFICER AND A SPY is the winner of this year’s Ian Fleming Steel Dagger, awarded by the Crime Writers’ Association to the best thriller of the year.

The announcement was made at last night’s glittering ITV Crime and Thriller Awards ceremony.

The judges had high praise for Harris’ novel, which they described as ‘An outstanding, beautifully written novel which transforms actual events into an edge-of-the-seat thriller. Masterly story-telling.’
