Rory Kinnear talks about SPECTRE and his work on stage for 'The Trial'
In a new interview with
The Standard, Rory Kinnear revealed his familiar role as Tanner to Daniel Craig's James Bond is one of the constants in his life at present.
As the father of a newborn, appearing on stage in "The Trial", and night shoots for Bond, Kinnear has his work cut out.
âThis is the first straight run of a play Iâve done since my children were born,â said the actor.
Speaking of the night shoots SPECTRE has called for, Kinnear said: âWe finish about 5am, then Iâve asked for 11am or noon starts here [in the theatre].â
Of his character in the Bond film, the actor remarks: âTanner remains stable. Thatâs what heâs there for: heâs just the table on which to rest things.â
And even with the departure of Dame Judi Dench, Mendes has attracted a number of prolific stage actors to the silver screen. âOur gang of good guys â Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, myself and now Andrew Scott â have all spent quite a bit of time on the London stage.â
