`Moonraker` James Bond movie theme to be used on new George Michael track

22-Mar-2004 • Bond News

George Michael fans may be surprised by a lot of familiar sounds when they hear his new album `Patience`. George has sampled the theme from the James Bond film "Moonraker", as well as Human League and Aaliyah.

The "Moonraker" theme song from the Roger Moore 007 movie of the same name (originally sung by Shirley Bassey in 1979) makes for interesting content on the track `Please Send Me Someone`.

Aaliyah`s `Try Again` surfaces on the remake of `Freeek`. Human League`s 1981 hit `Love Action` has become the underlying theme to the anti-Blair single `Shoot The Dog`. Paul Alexander`s 1999 hit `Flawless` is back as `Flawless (Go To The City)` on the George album.

George Michael`s `Patience` album is available next week following reports that it may very well be George`s last ever album after reveling plans to still recording new music but only making in available for download with a small donation to charity.
