Sir Sean Connery listed as 491st richest person in Britain and Ireland

Sir Sean Connery, the original James Bond, has been listed as the 491st richest person in Britain and Ireland.

The Sunday Times Rich List 2004, which gives the definitive guide to the 1000 richest people, lists Connery as having a £82m fortune.

He was outgunned by the singer from the theme of "Thunderball", Tom Jones, who was ranked 253rd with his £165m. The star of "Johnny English", Rowan Atkinson, appeared at no. 666 with £60m.

The Queen was down at 177th place, with her £250m coming no where near this year's richest man, Roman Abramovich with a staggering £7500m.
