Roger Moore's defining TV role as Simon Templar - THE SAINT becomes available on DVD

THE SAINT Series One, the television series that launched the eyebrow-raising career of Roger Moore, is set for release May 17th as a complete 10 disc DVD box set, featuring all 39 episodes of the first series.

Moore, put his stamp firmly on Simon Templar, the fictitious character created by Leslie Charteris. Adapted for television in 1962, Roger Moore starred in 71 black and white and 47 colour episodes totalling over 31 hours of viewing.
The show came to an end in 1969 but resurfaced in 1979 as The Return of The Saint starring Roger Moore lookalike Ian Ogilvy by this time Moore had gone on to his starring roles in the James Bond franchise.

THE SAINT out-swindles the swindlers for the good of the little guy; he's handsome, charming, suave and sophisticated, cool in a crisis and hot in bed!
