14-Sep-2002 • Media Alert

Alias, a massive hit show in the US, is finally coming to UK terrestrial television.

Channel 4 has bought the rights to the first series and starts this Saturday (14th September 2002) at 5:25pm. The first episode is a 1 hour 55 minute feature length special.

"Alias" is an action drama series about a student who works for a dubious covert government department, while secretly reporting to the CIA.
It stars Jennifer Garner, Michael Vartan, Ron Rifkin, Bradley Cooper, Victor Garber and Merrin Dungey.

Jennifer Garner plays Sydney Bristow, a beautiful but mysterious grad student who claims to work at an international bank part-time but is really one of the most respected agents for both SD-6 and the CIA.
