Brendan Fraser has a Licence to Kill in a new 007 style spoof

16-Jun-2004 • Actor News

According to MovieHole, one-time `Superman` contender Brendan Fraser had his wish fulfilled of playing a big screen superhero-type...unfortunately (or fortunately) it’s not for the Man of Steel.

Fraser will star in Revolution Studios’ "Gay Secret Agent", says Variety, another of those Our Man Flint/007/Austin Powers style comedies, only this time with Fraser’s agent being "flamboyantly gay. It is a designation that proves helpful in secret agenting, as it turns out".

Brad Hall and Andrew Gottlieb writing the script. It will be produced by the Revolution-based team of Suzanne and Jennifer Todd, producers of the "Austin Powers" films.

Thanks to `James` for the alert.
