Pierce Brosnan will `stick by his son` following his arrest

Pierce Brosnan has vowed to stick by his son after he was arrested on suspicion of stealing mobile phones from a trendy London night club, reports Female First.

Christopher Brosnan, 32, was caught after allegedly going through handbags left near the dance floor in exclusive London nightspot, Chinawhite.

A witness revealed: "There were a number of complaints about mobile phones going missing.

Suddenly security came up to Chris's table and then the police arrived."

He then spent the night in a cell before being bailed.

Christopher was released by police the next morning while inquiries continued, after a DNA swab reportedly linked him with another theft.

Brosnan last night said he would remain supportive of his son who he says has 'been through a lot'.

A close family friend said: "Pierce will always stand by his kids and is standing by Sean now. His family is the most important thing in his life."
