Michelle Yeoh says she had `no knowledge` of engagement announcement

30-Sep-2004 • Actor News

Following yesterday's announcement that Michelle Yeoh, who starred as Wai Lin in the 1997 James Bond film "Tomorrow Never Dies", was to marry Ferrari F1 team boss Jean Todt, the Hong Kong action star has now denied the news.

According to a Formula 1 website, 42-year-old Yeoh told Chinese language newspaper 'Oriental Daily News' by telephone that she had no knowledge of Todt's announcement.

She said: 'What? How did that come out? I didn't know about it.'

When asked if Todt had proposed, Michelle answered: 'No. I have got a lot of work and projects to do. I think I'll get them done first.'

Yeoh said she was 'happy' with the relationship with Todt but would 'inform everyone' if they're going to get married.

Thanks to `Seb` for the alert.
