Bond, James Bond exhibition heading to Arizona Science Center this month

15-Oct-2004 • Event

The completion of a major expansion project at the Arizona Science Center will coincide with the opening of world-touring 007 exhibit.

And to inaugurate the three-story wing, "Bond, James Bond - The Exhibition," highlights gadgets, gizmos and art used by the British superspy. It opens October 23rd and runs through April.

"It's big, it's fun and visible and something that will bring attention to us," museum President Sheila Grinell said. "Bond is well known, and it's a large exhibit."

The Science Center's $4.9 million expansion includes 8,500 square feet of exhibit space, allowing the center to attract bigger shows. It gives the center classroom space and makes room for a dining facility. The redesign also gives the center more visibility on Fifth Street.
