Golf legend Peter Alliss recalls stories of coaching Sean Connery for Goldfinger
Eight-times a Ryder Cup star and 23 times a tournament winner, golfer turned commentator Peter Alliss spoke to press as he prepared to fly into Edinburgh to sign copies of his autobiography "My Life" this week - reports

And, as he confirmed, heâll be renewing links with his contribution to the film industry in recalling an early teaching appointment to one of Scotland's best known sons, Sir Sean Connery.
"One of the scenes for James Bond in Goldfinger required him to play golf. Sean was coming into golf but he took to the sport well and got down to a handicap of about seven," said Alliss.
Connery has been a keen golfer ever since.
