A leaked interview with Brosnan reveals his future with the Bond role

01-Oct-2002 • Bond News

Movie news site DarkHorizons.com have leaked some snippets from an interview with Pierce Brosnan that is not due to be released until tomorrow:

Pierce Brosnan called the new 007 adventure "less convoluted and has far more of a linear plot to it" than its predecessors. Brosnan also talked a little about the steamy love scenes with Halle Berry which were rumoured to be cut: "I`ve been out of the loop for six weeks, so I`m just catching up on this, I mean, the scene is pretty tame, in many respects, compared to something like Monster`s Ball. I mean it`s just Halle and I rolling around on top of each other. This is the way it`s shot and the suggestion of it".

He also commented on further adventures: "The producers have told me the role is mine as long as I like. I think I could do at least one more but I also know there comes a time to bow out gracefully". The third and final trailer will premiere on "Access Hollywood" tomorrow night.
