jamesbond@hotmail email address up for charity auction

MSN, owners of the hotmail web-based email service, are auctioning selected email addresses for charity.

To launch the new UK flavour of hotmail, special "@hotmail.co.uk" adresses have been reserved by the company prior to release, and are now being auctioned for the benfit of the NSPCC charity.

Despite hotmail accounts being free to sign-up for, these famous names are attracting some extraordinarily high bids.

With six days left on the auction, the current highest bid for the "jamesbond@hotmail.co.uk" email address stands at over £2000 (around $3700 USD).
