Heath Ledger acting like James Bond?

Australian actor Heath Ledger returned to Sydney this week, joining the list of stars coming home to bolster the local film industry.

Ledger is back to film "Candy", in which he'll star opposite Abbie Cornish, but yesterday he was acting more like he was trying out for the now vacant role of James Bond - accoring to the Herald Sun (Australia).

Ledger was zipping around in 007's wheels of choice, an Aston Martin, with a glamorous woman.

On Monday night he was at hip nightspot theloft sipping on martinis.

Followers say he spent the afternoon in Bondi, grabbing a bite to eat and a coffee in Gusto on Campbell Pde before popping in to a homewares store for a couple of big red cushions.
