James Bond`s Aston Martin DB5 tops 'dream car' poll

Motorists with a licence to thrill have voted James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5 their dream car - reports The Scotsman.

The car was driven by 007, played by Sean Connery, in the Goldfinger and topped a Dream Journey poll conducted by the Kwik-Fit company.

The second most popular car was the Jaguar E-Type followed by the Porsche 911, the Lamborghini Countach and the Ferrari Testarossa.

Most popular car colour with those surveyed was silver, followed by black, red, blue and green.

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen was the the top tune to drive by, followed by Robbie Williams’s Angels, Bat Out Of Hell by Meatloaf, With Or Without You by U2 and Born In The USA by Bruce Springsteen.

Williams did even better in the poll for dream male passenger, proving the most popular travelling companion for women, ahead of Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Jude Law and David Beckham.

For men, the ideal passenger would be Jennifer Aniston, followed by Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, Beyonce and Jordan.

The Scottish Highlands proved the top dream driving location, followed by the Cornish/English Riviera, the Lake District, the Welsh Coast and the Cotswolds.
