Samuel L Jackson wants a role as a James Bond villain

Samuel L Jackson has revealed that he'd love to be in a James Bond film.

Speaking as a guest on today's TRL on MTV (UK), the movie superstar told Dave Berry that he really fancies being a Bond baddie.

"You know what - I'd really really love to be in a James Bond movie," said Samuel.

"I'd love to kick some 007 butt. Gimme That Opportunity!"

Or if he can't land a role as ass-kicker to the legendary Martini drinker, Samuel L has a back-up option: "At least let me be one of the black pirates in Pirates Of The Caribbean!"
