Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry at the 77th Academy Awards (photos)

Stars of the last James Bond film, "Die Another Day" (2002) attended the 77th Annual Academy Awards in Hollywood last night.

Pierce Brosnan was on duty to present the Costume Design Oscar at 9:15pm to Sandy Powell, assisted by Edna from "The Incredibles" (an animated character) who hardly let him get a word in - probably for the best though as he clearly had a sore throat. Brosnan was introduced to the audience along with the famous James Bond theme, despite the actor issuing a statement that he had stepped down from 007 in early this month.









Halle Berry was also in attendance, fresh from receiving her "Razzie" award for Worst Actress in "Catwoman" yesterday.

She presented Dante Ferretti and Francesca Lo Schiavo their Oscars for achievement in art direction for their work on 'The Aviator'.
