Young Bond author Charlie Higson discusses James Bond #6 dilemma
With the next movie on the way, "Casino Royale" in 2006, but no new 007 yet -
BBC News asked Young Bond author Charlie Higson who he thought should play Bond:
"There isn't anyone obvious, and all the previous choices, apart from Roger Moore, have sort of come from nowhere."
"So, I think they will confound everyone and go for someone not on any of the lists of obvious people."
"I hope they do actually try and find someone who can act and it's not embarrassing."
"I have written to them putting myself forward, but they haven't been back to me - it's staring them in the face, but they don't seem to want to go for it!"
Part 1 of "In Conversation with Charlie Higson" - an MI6 interview - is now online.
