Pierce Brosnan`s The Matador set for October 12th release

DarkHorizons are reporting that Pierce Brosnan's next film, "The Matador", is being lined up for a release on October 12th 2005 in New York and L.A.

Miramax, who acquired the rights after the movie stormed the Sundance Film Festival, are currently working on post production polish.

Written and directed by Richard Shepard, the film stars (former James Bond 007) Pierce Brosnan and Greg Kinnear. The supporting cast includes Hope Davis, Philip Baker Hall, Dylan Baker, Roberto Sosa, and Adam Scott.

The Matador centers on an unlikely friendship between an assassin (Brosnan) and a gullible suburban couple (Kinnear and Davis).
