SilverFin sells 4000 copies in second week of release, #8 in children`s book chart
The first Young James Bond book by Charlie Higson - SilverFin - is performing quite well in the UK book charts, but the sales figures aren't quiet setting the world alight.
SilverFin shifted just over 4000 copies in its second week on sale in the UK, totalling 7000 copies since its release on March 3rd 2005.
The Bookseller list SilverFin at #8 in the Children's Paperback chart. Nielsen BookScan listed SilverFin at #10 in a similar chart.
High-street retailer WH Smith places the book at #4 in its top selling childen's book chart. Online retailers Play.com and Amazon.com place SilverFin at #12 and #17 respectively in their general book sales charts.
UK bookshop chain Waterstones have slashed the cover price from £5.99 down to £3.99.
