SilverFin sells over 80,000 copies in the UK

09-May-2005 • Young Bond

Since going on sale in the UK on March 3rd 2005, the first Young Bond book by Charlie Higson - SilverFin - has sold over 80,000 copies in Great Britain.

The first official sales figures are still to come out for the USA, as the book has only been on sale since 27th April 2005.

MI6 revealed yesterday details of foreign translations of SilverFin, due for Germany, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and Spain.

In related news, UK bookshop chain Waterstones have slashed SilverFin's cover price from £5.99 down to £3.99 and added the book as part of their 3-for-2 deal.
