Original `Octopussy` Tuk Tuk taxi up for auction

11-May-2005 • Collecting

An original Tuk Tuk taxi used in the 1983 James Bond film "Octopussy" is up for auction on popular website Ebay.

According to the seller, this is one of very few actual Indian Tuk Tuk Taxis used during the chase scene in which 007 and Vijay fend off Kamal Khan's goons through the streets.

The Tuk Tuk already has a history of well known owners. It was bought directly from Remy Julienne (the French stuntman who did so many superb stunts for Eon Productions), and was later purchased by Cars of the Stars Museum in England, before being acquired by the current seller.

Bids start at £2,500 GBP. Click here for full details on the auction.
