British actor Gary Stretch rumoured for James Bond audition

Little known actor Gary Stretch has become the latest of a long line of names linked to the vacant James Bond role. According to today's edition of the Daily Star (UK), the British former boxer turned actor will be attending a final audition on Friday.

His most notable role to date was Cleitus in "Alexander", which won him praise from the critics.

Stretch, 36, made headlines in the 1990's for dating Raquel Welch - the actress who was cast as Domino in the 1965 James Bond film "Thunderball" before being releaseed her from contract as a favor so she could star in "Fantastic Voyage" (1966) instead.
