Brittany Murphy adds her support to the Clive Owen as 007 campaign

Brittany Murphy is the latest Hollywood name to back British actor Clive Owen as the next James Bond 007. Her endorsement follows hot on the heels of Melissa George, another Owen co-star, naming him as the best candidate.

The sexy actress believes the Hollywood actor was born to be the next 007 because of his power of seduction over women - reports Fazed.

She said of her co-star at the London premiere of their new movie 'Sin City': "Clive is an absolutely gorgeous hunk of a man and a gentleman to boot.

"He's born for the part of James Bond. He's born to woo women and it's just such a shame he's married!" I'm a big Pierce Brosnan fan and would love to see him play Bond one last time but if he wants to step down, there is absolutely no one better than Clive."

Meanwhile, Brittany, dressed in a full-length scarlet evening gown on the red carpet, said she was making the most of her stay in the capital.

She added: "I am having a real wild time in London but in a good-girl kind of way. I'm a lady."
